Forever 21 88 Eyeshadow Palette!!

Yup! Ya heard (or read)! Forever 21 has an 88 eyeshadow palette!! I went to finish Christmas shopping with my sister this past Sunday and we stopped in at Forever 21 and they had such wonderful makeup which a lot of it caught my eye but I decided to bring this one home with me because I am a sucker for eyeshadow palettes. Now this palette is just like the other palettes that you see, your typical matte black case. It has the love & beauty emblem on the bottom right hand corner in gold. If you smell the palette it has that powdery scent that some cheap eyeshadows have, not the chemical smell that most 88 eyeshadow palettes, so I prefer the powdery scent to the chemical smell. It is also Cruelty Free!! Yup that is right, so maybe they specifically made this palette for themselves instead of ordering them from a big wholesale site? It retails for $14.80 which I think is a pretty good price. It feels pretty nice like any other 88 eyeshadow palette you would get from Coastal Scents or the sort. I personally like this eyeshadow palette, the eyeshadows are pretty pigmented and you get a nice array of shimmer and matte although the matte ones have a bit of glitter but nothing that would be visible. It kind of disappears as you blend the color. I personally recommend this palette. It's a nice little gem! :)

FOTD: Snow Sprite :)

It seems like I have not done a FOTD in a while.. :( So here is one!!

I hope you guys enjoy it. I've had this palette and never really tried it, only swatched and I was feeling green so I decided to give it a go and I LOVE it!!! I love how it turned out and it being Wet n Wild you best believe the shadows blended perfectly and are very pigmented! I love this look! So onto the steps after some pictures! BTW the palette I used is the Limited Edition Holiday palette in the shade Snow Sprite.

Steps:

1. I primed my eye first with my ELF $1 primer and then I took this LA Colors Jumbo Eye Pencil in the color Limeade and placed it only on my lid and blended it a bit so there isn't that much product because if there is too much of the product you could get creasing.

2. I then took the lid color and placed it on my lid leaving a bit of empty space on the inner part of my eyes.

3. I then took the crease color and carefully blended it into my crease and up a bit above the crease focusing the majority of the color in the outer V so you get a nice smokey color.

3. I then took the tear duct color and placed it in my tear duct and a little bit on the inner part of my lower lashline.

4. I lined my eyes with black liner and used a black color to set it and then used the crease color to smoke it out using a pencil brush.

5. I then lined my upper eyelid with Maybelline Eyestudio in Blackest Black.

6. I added a few coats of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara.

7. I used my Maybelline SuperStay foundation and then set it with my Neutrogena Skinclearing Mineral Powder.

8. I forgot to put it in the picture but for my contour I used the ELF Healthy Glow Bronzer in the shade Matte Bronze.

9. I finally finished it off with NYX Mosaic Powder in Love.

10. For my eyebrows which I also didn't picture is just a color from my 88 warm palette and just a brow brush.

Weekend Haul! :D

So here is another weekend haul! Well it's not really a weekend haul it was from last Thursday but I have another haul from Saturday but I didn't want to make the haul to big! So onto the awesome goodies I got!

Big Lots:

I got a few goodies here! I had gone to CVS to see if they had their 50-75% sale (which they didn't) and I had been looking for these LA Colors palettes which I have been wanting for a while and they had had them last year but didn't find them there. So I went to Big Lots to see what I could find and just my luck! I found both palettes there for $5! Which I'm not sure how much they retail for, but I got them because I had been wanting them forever!!! I also found three Revlon lipsticks one of which was Siren which I had also been wanting for a while. Each lipstick was $2. I also got this Gliterazzi Journal from Profusion which I believe they had last year at Walgreens for Christmas and I got it for $2. They had two other palettes but this is the one that caught my attention the most.

I went to see what they had at Ross because I usually get lucky and find these Color Club nail polish packs! And lucky me, I found two! I got each one for $7.99. The bottom one is my favorite because of the 5th color from the left! :)

Discount Store Haul!

So a few days ago I went to the discount store again and found some wonderful little gems! Yay! I love it there! But anyways I got a bunch of lipsticks and glosses, some nail polishes and one blush! I didn't swatch the nail polishes because I have a 1 year old son, so it's hard for me to do that. But aside from the nail polishes I swatched everything else and listed the prices!
