ELF Beach Beauty Night Edition

Ok so I just reviewed the ELF Beach Beauty "book" in Day and now I'm going to show you guys the night edition! The Night edition is just like the Day edition in that it comes with 16 eyeshadow, 8 lip colors, 2 blushes and 2 bronzers. The smaller of the two blushes could be used as a highlight due to it being so shimmery and light. Which and ok for me because it seems like it would be a decent highlight. The eyeshadows in this set are much more natural but like the Day edition you get no matte shades. The eyeshadows are really pretty though. The lip colors are more for night time although you do get some pretty nudes and an amazing red! The quality of the shadows is the same as the ones in the Day edition and in all their other eyeshadow palettes and quads. 

I really do like these little sets and I think the concept is neat that you get all you really need in one little package that makes it easy to take with you on the go. 

The price is good also! $6. Yup $6 for all of this. I think it is a pretty good price considering that you get blushes and bronzers and lip colors and eyeshadows! I really do like these and I really do recommend them. So next time you see these, pick them up. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

ELF Beach Beauty Day Edition

Today I'm here to review and show you some swatches of the ELF Beach Beauty "book".  As I said in a previous post, I purchased these on Mother's Day at Target. They had two editions: Day and Night. I will be showing you guys the Day one today! :) Each of them are $6 which I think is a pretty good price considering what you get! They come with 16 eyeshadows, 8 lip colors, 2 bronzers and 2 blushes and a dual ended applicator. 

My overall thought of these is that they are awesome! I love how you get so many goodies in one little package. Oh and can we please look at how beautiful the front cover is!!! 

The quality of the shadows is the same as their other shadows that you would find in any of their palettes or quads. The blushes and bronzers remind of some that they already have out. Like for example the big blush in the Day edition reminds me a bit of their Studio blush in Tickled Pink and the big bronzer reminds me of their essential bronzer in Glow. I really do like the quality of the bronzers and blushes. The lip colors in this palette are kind of sheer though. They are more of glosses although you could build them up to get a stronger color. 

But all in all I do highly recommend this! It's an all in one package that you could carry with you in your beach bag or purse and you're set to go for touch ups during the day, since it is in a small package.  I really do enjoy these!

New Elf Beuty Books!! :)

Ok first off let me say sorry for being MIA but I've had so much going on. I recently moved into a new house, my sister graduated and I have been taking a family member to the doctor. So I hope I will be posting stuff more regularly now!

But onto the exciting stuff! I went to a Target on Mother's Day. I know dumb but I wanted to go out and shop because all the good places to go shopping  are an hour away from whether I go east, west or south (haven't gone north hahaha) so I decided I wanted to do some shopping and then go eat. So we went to Target and of course I hit up the makeup aisles. So as I was just getting to the makeup section I saw on a little endcap display these two Beauty Books along with some other little dollar glosses and Sinful Colors polishes but I was definitely going for these (I also got the Sinful Colors polishes which I will show in another post).

These were $6 each but they are amazing! The box is the size of the "book". So it wasn't the typical beauty book packaging where it comes in big bulky packaging. So I just saw the picture of what the colors looked like and grabbed them, not knowing what the actual book looked like. So when we were on our way home I opened them and was super surprised and wowed! The cover is beautiful as you can see with little seashell designs and the font of "Beach Beauty" is also pretty. I love these sets and I hope they come out with more! They each come with 2 bronzers, 2 blushes, 16 eyeshadows and 8 lipcolors. There is a Day and a Night edition. 

I really like these because you have really all you need! The bronzers and the blushes are beautiful! I really like these and I definitely recommend these!
