Review: Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream

I will be doing a review on this Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream that I received in my Influenster Beauty Blogger Voxbox. This is a nicely sized sample size! You get 1.5 fl oz in this and I believe a full sized product has 4 fl oz so that's pretty good. As soon as I opened my Voxbox I could smell something and I started smelling everything and guess what?! It was this hair cream! You could smell the product through the tube! So onto the rest of the review!

Pros: Strong smell, easily accessible, inexpensive, nice texture

Cons: Strong smell

Conclusion: I liked this product. It did work for my hair but not as much as I would have liked. Reason being that I have extremely frizzy/damaged ends/hair. The top of my head and the front part of my hair (towards my face) did really good, but for some horrible reason the back of my head has really coarse hair and it was not having any of this product! For the parts that did want to work with it, it went awesome though! It does say to saturate your hair and I did it but it felt like it weighed my hair down. I liked the smell, but I think that to some people it could be a big turn off from this product. It smells kind of like grapes, maybe because it contains grapeseed, they may have wanted it to smell like grapes considering the ingredients. I did like this product but not that much for the state that my hair is in. I think that for people with more manageable, less frizzy hair this would work better. You can find the full sized product (4 fl oz) at Walmart for about $6. At my Walmart however I found it for $4 and some change, almost $5. I recommend this to people but it could be a hit or miss for you.

Review: Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin

I will be reviewing another item from the Influenster Beauty Blogger Voxbox! These are the Goody Spin Pins which I was so excited to get in the Voxbox because I had been wanting to try them so bad and I finally got to thanks to Influenster and Goody! Yay! You can find these Spin Pins at any drugstore well really almost any store that sells hair products! They retail for $7.29 give or take. 

Pros: Comfortable, easy to use, easily accessible, affordable, convenient, easy to store

Cons: Price

Conclusion: I loved these pins for all of the Pros. They are so comfortable to use you can't even tell you are using them! They are also really easy to use, all you do is spin them in and to take out you spin them out. Couldn't get much simpler right? Even though they are simple to use, they do hold your style together so don't worry about that. Like I said you can find them anywhere really. The price for me though is a little bit too much considering you only get two pins. I mean all they really do is spin in to hold your style, I don't think they should be that much but they work good so you are not getting ripped off in that sense. They are also easy to store and to carry around. Just throw them in your makeup bag or purse or clutch and you are ready to go! I recommend them!

Review: Vitabath Fragrance Mist in Luscious Lemon Creme

I have a review for you guys today regarding the Vitabath Fragrance Mist that I received in my Influenster Beauty Blogger Voxbox. I'm pretty sure most of you guys have heard of Influenster. It's a site to which you can request and invitation and you fill out reviews, surveys and all sorts of stuff. If you do good posting things such as on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest etc you can unlock badges and you can get selected to receive a Voxbox which includes many full-sized and generously sized sample-sized products for you to review. This Vitabath spray is FULL SIZED!! How awesome huh?! Oh and did I mention you get these products for free? Yup. Free. The best word in the English dictionary! :) So onto the pros, cons and my final conclusion.

Pros: Awesome smell, nice packaging, smell lasts a while, inexpensive

Cons: Not readily available

Conclusion: I love the smell and the packaging. The smell lasts a while but like any other body sprays it does wear off after a while. It is fairly inexpensive on their site $9.99 for an 8 oz which is the size I got in my Voxbox. It is a Canadian brand so the only place I do know of ordering it is offline, which could be a downside. I love this smell and maybe I will order some more off their site sometime. I recommend these body sprays. If you like sweet smells I recommend this one! It smells amazing!

Review: Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit

Ok so in my Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox I also received an Eyelash Starter Kit from Kiss Products which contains lashes in number 05, some little tweezer-like tool to help apply lashes and a little tube of their lash glue which I have tried before and is amazing! 

Pros: Easy to apply, glue works really good, affordable, easily accessible, comfortable to wear

Cons: None really.

Conclusion: I enjoyed these lashes very much. I have used Kiss lashes before and they are extremely comfortable to wear and to apply. The price is good for they quality of lashes and you can find them anywhere. The Starter Kit comes with all you need! It comes with an amazing set of lashes, an applicaton tool and lash adhesive! I have also tried their lash adhesive before and I love it. It works amazing. Also a tip: Apply glue to your lashes and let it get tacky. When it gets tacky apply a second layer of glue to the lashes and let them get tacky again and then apply. They will last all day! I highly recommend these lashes. They are awesome for the price.

Review: Bath & Body Works Mini Candle in Black Pepper Bergamot

So today I have a review for you guys from something I got in my Influenster Beauty Blogger Voxbox: Bath & Body Works Mini Candle in the scent Black Pepper Bergamot.

"Mini but mighty! Bath & Body Works Mini Candles provide an amazing fragrance experience exclusively developed and tested by a team of Home Fragrance experts, including the world's best master perfumers."
Retail value: $3.50

Pros: Strong smell, fairly inexpensive and easily accessible
Cons: Strong smell, too small

Conclusion: I LOVE this candle!!! I don't burn my candles, I put them on a candle warmer and let them melt. Before this candle was even fully melted it had made my whole room smell wonderful! It is "mini but mighty!" let me just tell you what! The smell is musky, kind of like a really good boy cologne that you would smell during the fall. Oh it's just amazing! I highly recommend this candle. I have not tried any other ones from Bath & Body Works but just by having tried this one I can tell you I am definitely sold! I am going to get more of these but maybe the bigger size which by smelling the mini one I can just imagine how much stronger the larger ones are! I highly recommend these candles. They are totally worth the money! 

Influenster Beauty Blogger 2012 Voxbox!

 So I qualified to be one of the many beauty bloggers who was lucky enough to receive an Influenster Beauty Blogger 2012 Voxbox!! Man do I feel so happy!!! There were some incredible things in this box that I had been wanting to try and never got around to try but now I do!!! So you better believe someone screamed when they opened their box (I bet I'm not the only one!).

 So these were ALL the goodies I got!! So much right!!! Well for now I am going to show you some pictures and I will tell you how much they retail for and a little bit about each thing. So enjoy the pictures guys!!

 Next up is this eyeshadow palette from NYC from the IndividualEyes collection in the color 0156-08 Dark Shadows. It retails for $4.99. This can be found at any drugstore.

 Next up is this Starter Eyelash kit from Kiss. They are in number 05. They retail for $5.99. They can be found at any drugstore.

This next awesome thing is the Goody Simplestyles Spin Pin. It retails for $7.29. It can be found at any drugstore.

Next up is this deluxe sample sized Not Your Mother's. Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream. This is a 1.5 fl. oz sized but the full sized (4 oz) retails for $6.00.

I also got this EBoost Daily Health Booster pack. $28 for box of 20 effervescent powders, $39 for box of 30 effervescent powders and $39 for box of 12 shots.

I also got this amazing coupon for Bath & Body Works that lets you get a 3-wick Candle for only $10!! And you can get up to 5!!

Last thing I got was this Vitabath Fragrance Mist in the scent Luscious Lemon Creme. I  don't have a retail value for this one.
